It was the last day of the first term before all pupils would enjoy their 2 weeks school holiday. On 9 March 2013, the school organised a school-level National Day celebration in the hall.

Teachers and pupils all gathered to commemorate Brunei Darussalam's 29 th National Day with patriotic performances from the pupils of Year 1 to Year 6.

A Doa was recited by Ustaz Amiruddin, marking the event was about to start. Cikgu Hjh Norliha binti Haji Matali, the Headmistress of the school made her welcoming speech on the stage.

Lower primary of Year 2 and 3 made their first performances by singing the national anthem, followed by Year 1 being models showing the Brunei national attires from 7 ethnic groups. To name a few, some showed the Bisaya and Murut ethnics and the Brunei Malays.

The occasion was then followed by singing the patriotic songs performed by Year 4, 5 and a special combination group of Year 4 and 5.

Year 6 students performed the poems about the National Day, recalling the history of freedom that Brunei was officially declared free from a foreign reign on 1 January 1984.

At the end of the event, Cikgu Hashnalhakim, Assistant Headmaster II of the school gave rewards to pupils who won the National attire competition and the patriotic song performance. Also, more rewards were given away to teachers who did best in the National Day quizzes.
