Fulfilling the desire to know more about the ancient Brunei, three pupils together with three teachers from the school's counselling section made some excursions to three places today, 13 June 2011, namely Brunei Museum and Brunei Malay Technology Museum, both in Kota Batu and Kampong Ayer Cultural and Tourism Gallery located in Kampong Lorong Sikuna in the water village.

Led by Cikgu Noor Mohd Sah bin Haji Metassim, Cikgu Hajah Aineh binti Haji Saban and Cikgu Norhaidah binti Haji Abd Rahman, the visits aimed to expose the members to the cultures, customs and histories of Brunei.

Departed at 8am from the school, the first visit went to Brunei Malay Technology Museum where they were exposed to technologies that existed in the past. Next they went to Brunei Museum gathering knowledge on many aspects relating to the life, economic, environment and nation development. Final destination using a water taxi went to Kampong Ayer Cultural and Tourism Gallery on the lifestyle of the Kampong Ayer people.

The kids did some writing reports as to record for themselves a reference of their visits to the places. Pictures and reports of the visits would probably to be displayed at the Counselling Notice Board at school for updates to the teachers and parents and to attract other pupils' interests about the counselling's activities. A video clip during the ride on a water taxi can be viewed below.
