Beribi Telanai Primary School wins championship

Beribi Telanai Primary School emerged as the overall champion in the Track and Field Primary School Championship for Brunei III area after obtaining six gold medals, three silver medals and four bronze medals.

Meanwhile, the overall champion for boys was awarded to Katok 'A' Primary School after obtaining four gold and three silver medals, while the overall champion for girls was awarded to Beribi Telanai Primary School after obtaining five gold and two silver medals.

After winning two gold and a silver medal, Md Khairul Hamizan bin Abdullah from Katok 'A' Primary School was awarded the best male athlete while Mazarina anak Sajar from Mata-Mata Primary School was awarded the best female athlete after she won two gold medals and a silver medal.

The Acting Director of Schools for Brunei I and III areas, Hjh Hasnah binti Kula officiated the event which was organised by the Co-curriculum Deparment, Ministry of Education.

Thirteen schools from the Brunei III took part in the track and field championship conducted by Tungku Primary School Brunei III held at the National Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium in Berakas.
